Alice Druitt is the artist behind Gingerpaws. Born and brought up in Edinburgh, she started her business illustrating busy scenes of the picturesque city and continues to produce greetings cards and Christmas cards along this theme. Her work tends to be highly detailed, and if you look closely, each picture has several stories to tell. As well as her signature cityscapes, Alice illustrates a variety of other subject matter packed with people and animals.

In search of further adventure, Alice set off for London in 2005 where she currently lives and works. If not splashing around with the ducks in Hyde Park or gobbling jellied eels at Broadway market, Alice can be found behind her desk frantically sketching in the final details of the houses of parliament.
